1965 Dodge Coronet Console Location and Brackets

I am in the process of locating a shifter hump in the Coronet and then getting the console in my right location and fab up some brackets. I haven't found any repop brackets and I am not going to pay $195. dollars for a set of rusted lumps .
When l put it where it seems to want to be, the left side of console goes right down the middle of the hump shifter hole. HELP.
Dave L, do you have any advice here or a picture of the floor of your project. Any body making brackets?

Also when console is installed it will be on a small angle, if installation is a four speed you need to be precise so the side hump does not impede on the gas pedal area

Bracket is 27” from pinch weld to bracket face where console screw hole is, this center bracket on driver side

4 speed and automatic have brackets in same location, the four cars that I have measured seem to be on a 1/2” angle towards driver front, could just be factory welds going down line. Set center one at 27” from pinch weld and you will be good, there is adjustment with mounting screws.Best way is to mock up console with brackets attached to console,set center, level car side to side, level console and mark.

If bottom of car is finished, in my polara I used metal to metal two part epoxy with out burning bottom, you can lift the car by the brackets may be stronger than spot welds
