I purchased a new A/C Heater control switch PN 3895790 for my 1965 Belvedere and it says it fits 60-74 A,B,E bodies but mine only has 4 buttons and the new one has 5. I was told that I should just pull out one of the buttons and it would work. That just sounds wrong to me. I have pictures of my old one and the new one. I can not find one with 4 buttons. I know that I can't be the only one that has every had this problem. I need some help!

Send it back, it doesn't even wire the same. Doesn't your old switch have a part # on it.
