.... I met him at the York30 Drag reunion a few weeks ago. He said he had owned this car for about 5 years.... and did not drag race it , but used it as his personal cruiser that he took to local car shows.

Wow....!!!! What a sweet ride...!!!! I am totally jealous...!!!! LOL...!!!! I just love these beautiful old Mopars..... Its like looking at a 20 year old in a thong... Gets my old *** stiff....!!!!

Have you made any passes at the strip? How does it run and drive in general?

That is one friggin nice car... Good luck with your sell...

Shouldn't the 63/64 heads be 6 bolt for the valve covers.
Also the 62 small block radiator makes me wonder if there are other inconsistencies.

Inconsistencies in what? This is a race car, not a car that's supposed to be a stock restoration. 63 and early 64 heads were 4 bolt.

I have not taken it to the track. I just had the transmission completely rebuilt and I do drive it to local cruises. This is a NASTY sounding car. I told a buddy of mine that drag races and builds motors that "I am going to have to learn how to drive this car!"
.... He comment was... "Just bring the car over to my house and I will take you for a ride..... BUT... I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANY SCREAMING!"

This is a very neat car ... with great history. When I spoke with Tom Sneden at the York show he told me quote: "I liked the car and took it to local shows... but it was TOO radical for the street" I figured that with that comment, coming from a man that drove aluminum front end hemi cars for a living... was pretty impressive.
I just relisted it on ebay.... if you want to check it out... it is item #140859737298
Someone will get a very nice car.

What a nice car you have and wish I had the money to grab it. If anyone questioned the price on this one. They should have there head examined...!!! The cost in restoring a vehicle like this would be twice the price in what your originally were asking. This by far is a deal....!!!!:headbang: It just breaks my heart to see a car like that is just given away and people have the audacity to complain....!!!

I wish you well in the sale but you should have asked more...!!!
