1966 B bodies with rear seat belt retractors

This is just my opinion, but i don't think they are the correct belts for your 66. That double loop belt was 65 and early 66. If the belts have been rewebbed and have no tags indicating a date code, then you may never know for sure. I have 2 66 Satellites and neither have those belts.

Per Jerry's suggestion.. My front belts are correct 65-4 and rears have obviously been borrowed from elsewhere 66-2. Car is coded for front and rear deluxe belts though. Maybe I'm missing my front boots, but maybe that is what 559 "seat side shields" refers to!

I assume you're talking to Bill here? as my HP2 was built in Dec of 65.

Do your late build 66's, Jerry, have the notched belts like my rears?

Yes, my 66's have the notches on the side like all 67's. Both were built March or after 66. Both of mine also have the holders on the front seat side belts.

I cant answer this . I bought my car done.

Previous owner is a very good friend of mine. He bought the car as a major project in late 90s
He had the belts restored . By who I have no idea. Ive asked but he doesn't remember who did them

I bought a nos set of the retractors last year.
Got them installed today , finally.
