Hi fellas,
I have been thinking a lot about this but, I decided to put my wagon up for sale (sorta like losing a kid). I did the initial build in 1981/2 and used the car for a couple of years, then it was parked for 18 years until I caught up on life. The new 1965 Belvedere project is nearing completion, and I haven't been driving the wagon much, once this year so far and not at all last year.
Specifications:
493 with Ohio Crank rotating assy.
10.6:1 pistons
Lifter bores are bushed and corrected for location
Complete Hughes cam and kit solid lifters and roller rockers (HTL6064BS)
Edelbrock RPM heads (I back cut the intake valves)
Edelbrock six pack with billet metering block/plates-Holleys and Holley rotary pump
Aluminum water pump and housing
Doug's 2" headers with 3" exhaust and Delta 40s
Doug's electric cut-outs
The car made 453 HP on a chassis dyno
727 MRV with Dynamic converter
Gear Vendors OD
1350 U-joints
8 3/4 4.10 with clutch type Sure Grip
Cal Trac bars with mono leaf springs
Fuel cell and battery in rear
Body was from Florida so mostly solid-it does have rust/rot around rear fender wells and tail gate is also funky
Hood and scoop are fiber glass
Comes with 2 stock hoods and a new windshield
PM with any questions
Mike
