1966 Belvedere II

Hey all,

I finally bought my first Muscle-Care-Era vehicle, and not only that but I bought one of my dream cars. I sold my motorcycle to be able to buy a project car and started my search on craigslist immediately. I found my Belvedere at a small dealership here in Tulsa and fell in love at first sight. 65,100 original miles, runs and drives like a dream, short of the 48 year old shocks. I got my new shocks in the mail today and they are going in this weekend.

OH, and I almost forgot, I opened the owner's manual and found out I paid $101 dollars more than the car sold for brand new in '66. Can't wait to fix her up and cruise all summer.

Similar story here. I sold my supersport ZX9, bought a 4 door 1966 Belvedere II, got it right and sold it for enough dough to get into my current 1966 Dodge Charger.
Think you got a good deal if you scored a drivable 2 door Belvedere for a few thousand. Let see some pix!

good move! Most bikes are a poor investment, unless they are true collectibles, a very small minority of bikes..
Basically a buyers market. The Belvedere is a definite step up!

Thanks for the comments! I spent the weekend replacing some worn out suspension parts and gussying up a few rust spots. I'll post some pics this evening.
