Hi All,

Do you know if an automatic center console from a 1966 Dodge Coronet is interchangeable with a 1966 Plymouth Satellite?

Also, do you know if the only modification to go from a 66 center console to a 66 4-speed manual console is to change the shifter-plate portion?

I see on ebay they sell console brackets for auto and console brackets for manual. It looks like to go from auto to manual new console bracket would need to be purchased as well.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks,

watermelon

the 66 auto consoles are the same..except for the Charger...it's unique

to convert from auto to manual, you will need the 4spd side hump, Made from 'glass now I think, the floor tunnel hump, and the top shifter plate (pricey) and the chrome side trim for the console.

Like it says above but you will need to cut the left side of the console shell to clear the hump. Then add the extra hump, trim and special top plate. The 4 spd top plates are expensive and hard to find! Repos are $425.00 I think.
