1966 Charger help needed

Eh.. it's OK, getting zapped on that high voltage, at least once ,is part of owning a 66-67 Charger.

Next stupid question, when the power pack arrives, do I plug it in and hope for the best? Anything a guy should check before? Remember it was missing, I have no idea if any of the electroluminescent lighting worked before or not.
Plug it in, hope for the best and watch for smoke.

It separates the men from the fancy boys.
Or ones that don’t pay attention.
Was wearing my watch with a metal bracelet, hadn’t disconnected the battery. Hooked the strap on the cigar lighter, grounded it. By the time out, burn marks on my wrist.
Actually worse than the power pack bite.
