Nice car. I went and looked at it and saw the current bid was $200 i took the liberty of bidding $5000 and looks like i've been outbid. I hope to shout. I'll try $10000 when i get home tonite. It'll probably bring at least $50,000. Good luck on her and i'll be watching.

Yeah, well, that would be a good assumption since they only made 11 of them.:tongueflap:

Of those 11 I have tracked down 4 of them I have V.I.N. verification for 4 KNOWN cars built but one was stolen when two years old and possibly will never again surface and may no longer exist. Of these cars two are Turquoise/Turquoise, one is Blue/Blue. The stolen one was Silver. The other Unnown cars (no V.I.N. varification from an owner) are 2 Blue/Blue and 1 Black/Gold.
This would be a total of 6 known to exist of the 11 built IF I can get V.I.N. verification from the other owners and 1 other possible if the stolen car ever surfaces.

NONE of these other cars are for sale. I guess if someone REALLY wants a stripper Hemi Coronet 4 speed mine is the only choice available at this time.

I met a guy named joey last week from Louisiana who has one . wasnt forsale at any price .

Well what color was his? And next time you see Joey ask him if he stole it in 68. :rolling::rolling:

Everything has a price!

I advertised for info on 1966 WE21H with 4 speed cars for quite sometime and had many responses that "they knew of one" but the majority of the time when I got to the bottom of it, they were a Deluxe or 440 model or an auto trans car.

I would still be interested in anything you can find out about this car. Full V.I.N., interior/exterior color, trans, etc.
Thanks.

Just a shot for you to check out.

As of now there are 60 people watching my auction and 4 bidders so far. The number of watchers may or may not mean anything. Some are just interested in where it will go as in other Hemi car owners, some that MAY want to sell later, some that MAY want to BUY later, some MAY bid in the last few minutes of the auction.

The important thing is that my email address and phone number are in the ad body so that when it ends interested parties can still contact me.

What I am surprised at is that none of the bidders have email asking for the additional pictures or scans of the documentation. This falls right in line with my earlier thread about people thinking they are still hoping to steal cars on Ebay. These bidders really don't care about the extra things that to me make a HUGH difference in the car and it's value, so they are not really the buyer I am looking for.

There are typically a certain number of bidders that bid early thinking there may be a chance they can make an unbelieveable buy and at this point it appears three of them fall in that catagory. Opps, make that two, I forgot about a member here that bid on it apparently just to help get the bidding started.

I have a considerable amount of text in the auction description which will put off a lot of impatient people. You guys hear know that I am pretty detailed, sometimes **** with my posts that lead to lengthy responses in many cases.

Time will tell with this attempt. Maybe it will sell after the auction is over.

I would first have to have the guys name and then it would depend if they would give me contact info for him.
