I have a running 318 poly engine with 4bbl intake. No unusual noises but uses oil, looking for $300 Must pick up in Dover Plains ny 12522

You could take the 4bbl intake off and sell it on ebay for $500 and give the engine away. The whole engine together brings down the value.
Just a thought if you get no takers. I like my Poly with hot street cam, dual quad and TTI headers so I'm not dis-ing on the poly. It's just that intake is very desirable by itself.
Assuming it is a poly that is!

I've seen them 'listed' for $500...but does anybody actually pay that? I got mine off Craigslist for $285 and that included shipping from NY.

I sold one last year for $500 plus shipping, and there are Aluminum one's 7503 on ebay now still climbing at $560. People will pay it because of the craze to stroke them right now to 402. I know the poly guru (don't want to mention names) was selling one several months ago and was looking at $500+/-

Here is one to watch, Don't mean to hi-jack post but want to give you info to possibly help you get the most for what you have. This one on ebay is clean and painted but just watch and see what it sells for...it's at $400 now and 5 days left.

I understand your position but 90% of the population would not have access to them otherwise. Plus consider all the time and gas it takes to search for some times years. I won't keep posting here. Sorry for the hi-jacking.
