I bought this car for parts and used the doors, trunk lid and hood. I later decided that rather than parting it out I might want to build it eventually, so I have replaced the trunk lid and hood with very nice straight and rust free units. The doors however will need work to the lower area or replacement.
It is an original 383, 727 auto car with power windows but that's all I know. No fender tag. It sat in a garage for years before I got it. Very straight car with minimal rust only on the lower quarters. Floors are nice as is the trunk pan. Solid rockers.
Interior is original and in good shape for the age of the car, except there is a rip in the driver's seat. Otherwise, dash is complete and in good shape as are the rear interior panels and rear seat top trim panel. The door panels will need a little work but are not worn or torn. Center console is in very good condition and the bright work is nice. All the other ext and int trim and bright work is there and in good condition. The car is about 95% complete, minus the engine. I do have a period correct (1965) 383 with what I have been told has about 5000 miles on it since its rebuild (bought it from a member of FBBO) which I would sell with the car for $500.
Excellent parts car or could easily be redone. There is no title and will be sold with a bill of sale only. I believe $2,500 is a fair price for the car. It's located in the Albany NY area. Please PM me and I can send a link to all the photos.
