Picked this up for no reason in particular since I am balls deep in my A bodies. Car was used for an engine run stand of all things. Surface rust, needs front pans, underside solid. 8 3/4 rear with old style ladder bars. No interior. Building a 440 can build a 383. No plans to put the car back to original. Real decision is street or strip. image.jpgimage.jpg

I like it would make a cool sleeper.

Cool.....build a strip car that's street legal.

Nice find, it looks like a real solid starting point. It doesn't seem to have been used as a parts car, most of the trim is present and straight. You can take it in so many directions.

I don't see the side trim or hood ornament that should be on a 66 Belvedere II....even a slant 6 car should have the hood ornament.

I will have to look at the title for the year. Full side trim was removed at some point not sure if they took off the hood ornament at that time. I have barely looked over the car since it was brought home as I have been focusing on my A body car. I was building a 440 to sell to generate some cash for that that I may put in this one. Either way, it will be a minute before I get to it.
