1967 Carter AFB 4326s date code

Hi Everyone,
I have a 4326s AFB with the date code of 2A that came with my '67 R/T. Is this an over the counter replacement and the stamping is reversed?

Tag reads 4326s and 3621 underneath.

Base stamping reads 2A 4326s.

4326s is correct for 67 440 4-speed.

I'm saying original, but one of mine has C2 4326S and no tag. Check with @R413

3621 is 362nd day of 1971. 1967 model year carb tags didn't have dates on assembly line carbs just the carb number.

Original carbs will be letter then number. H6 is very common.

I'm not sure what you mean, it's a reman?

I don't know, but it was a very popular replacement back in the day, especially for a 383 upgrade.

I had one with a 1982 date code.
Came off a 67 440 car, with 915 heads on a late 70's warrantee block.
You purists beat me up on price when I sold the carb.
