This is the very last car left from my late boyfriend's estate. This was his first car, which I had hoped the family would keep, but they haave decided to sell it.
Allen bought this Charger in 1977, when he was 15 years old. It was a 383 car originally. He wasn't happy with that after being beaten in a street race by a Camaro, so he saved his money and eventually ordered a 440 to be built by racer D. A. Santucci. The motor was built with all possible upgrades and racing tolerances. It was dyno'd at 1185 hp. It is stamped by D. A. Santucci on the flat pad in front of the intake area.
All the body panels and paint are original. There are just a couple very minor scars, but absolutely no rust. It was always garaged.
It runs fantastic (I have personally driven it several times). Everything works (except the headlight doors- they are unplugged so they may work but I didn't want to plug them in). Even the electroluminescent dash works.
It has a CB radio in it, and a large speaker sitting in the back (he was a big music lover!)
The family is asking $25,000 or best offer. I will be getting more photos this weekend.
Serious inquiries only, please.
