You telling me you don't think I had a good price on the Coronet? I watched a qrt panel in worse shape going for 3K on ebay. I thought 3K for the car was a fair price, I had ALOT of people wanting just parts, but I didn't want to part it out since a took alot of time and money getting another title for it. I let it go for $1500, So I think the buyer got a really good deal.

"fair price" to most folks= want to sell,would like to recoup some of my money,car is worth more in parts,but someone will want the whole car,price is set to make someone a good deal on a restorable car,i have this much time and money in car price reflects only some of it,etc.,etc.

"fair price" to the tire-kickers,day dreamers,and others left un-named= it should be free,or close to free,is actually worth more than your price,but since i want it,really have no money to spend,and i'm special you should give it to me or sell it dirt cheap. if it were mine,it would be twice the price,and i would be whining,crying,stomping my feet like a 3 year old because no one is buying it.....
all i'm saying. i guess delete ....the truth.....again.

Well, I wasn't whining and crying like a three year old, If it didn't sell for what I wanted, I would have "done" something with it. Im glad someone is going to do something with it, I hated watching it sit in a junkyard when I bought it.

I hate that too, Ive seen it happen so many times, One of my dads buddies had a AAR Cuda sitting beside his barn, It was hiis wifes car and she wanted to sell it, he refused, and it rotted to the ground. I stopped and looked at a 85 chevy wagon for a derby car, and when I told the guy my plan( I already knew he wouldn't sell it) He told me he wouldn't take $10K for it to be used for a derby car. He'd rather watch it sit and rot, which is what it will do. I had already been sitting for 5 years. When I bought the Coronet, I also got a 76 Chrysler Newport with 43K original miles on it,( next years Derby car) They also have a AMC Rebel sitting in there.
