1967 Coronet R/T with 440/375hp engine

OK... another dumb@ss newbie question. I can't read all of the markings on these controls on this R/T. Please tell me "what's what?" in the middle, closest to the steering column.

Lights - Wipers - ??? - ??? - Ignition - Lighter

Thanks,
Mopar R/T

The switch to the left of the steering column is the hazard flasher. Not sure about the one on the right - the shop manual shows that area blank - nothing obvious is showing in the wiring diagram for the dash either... Let us know what you find out about it -

I am starting to lose my patience with the dealership that this car resides at. Considering their slow response rate, I'm getting the feeling that this may NOT be an all numbers matching car. I hope I'm wrong, but if that's the case - how drastically does that lower the worth of the car?

Does it take a $20,000 car and cut it in half? (E.g.: $10,000) Is it a less severe drop, like a 20% cut down to $16,000 or would it be even worse than that $10,000 (50%) number?

Thanks,
Mopar R/T

it does get to a point where the condition of the car takes over. But a sharp clone is still worth 12k, because it costs so much to restore a car today. However, if you aren't getting a response, it may be a good Idea to look elsewhere,.

Thanks, M66C. They usually respond within 48 hours, but I don't always get all my answers at once. I can ask 3 questions and they answer back with 2 of the 3! Then I have to wait another day or two. By then, I think of something else to ask and the cycle starts all over again. I don't think the dealer is un-trustworthy (at least not yet) but it is annoying to do this a bit and piece at a time. He's told me this is definitely a '67 block, but needs to check further on all of the rest. Says he's calling in a Mopar guy in on Monday (it's past midnight, so that's today, LOL) to figure things out.

I guess I just need to be patient.

It may be fine. If that pad says C440 HP, and the day month is close to the date on the tag, you likely have an original. How far is it from your home?

They sent me this pic of the engine block stamping. They claim the last # is a 5. Does this help any?

I don't know what that is. The pad should show a letter C then 440. If HP you will see HP. then, a day/month.ie: 9/1 would be sept 1 66. 1/5 would be 5 Jan 1967. sometimes you will see a 10 or 20, referring to specs on the engine. But that four digit looks a lot like a mid 70's number. ask for a picture of the Harmonic balancer, and where the radiator outlet is.
The casting number on the side of the block is a logical request as well. It is easy to see,,,,,,,,,

Obviously, these guys have no idea what the hell they're doing. I will call them again tomorrow! Ugh!

based on that picture it would be difficult to convince anyone that engine is original to that car.........

I'm not saying anything here, but I saw those four digit numbers one other time, and that engine was from a police Impound lot.
I could be totally wrong here though. Boots on the ground as 69coronetrt said.

I'm working on the "boots on the ground" plan of attack now (right? monaco66coupe, wink! wink!) ;)
