..well, we are getting to the stage where I'd like to pick up some tires for the Coronet. What do you think would look cool on the 67 in the 195/75R14 range....or something that will fit in and around that.....

What color is the car? Red-lines look good on rich colors. Mine is painted the original light blue and red-lines just didn't cut it. There used to be a narrow white wall, that looked sharp...but I can't find them now. I bought a tire that had a narrow gold wall...but also had a white wall close to the rim. I tried to like it....I can't seem to feel good about any of the options available so far.
I switched my to 15". My feeling is that no car designer would put this size car in 14" tires today.
I put 215's in the front and 235's for the rear. I am happy with the sizes anyway

I has 205 75 15 on my 66 for a while on black, then body color 5th Ave 15x7 steelies.
Then 14x7 and 15x7 chrome Magnum 500's with IIRC 205 75 14 and 225 75 15
That would look sharp on a gold car.

I think my gold 67 Belvedere looks good with Magnum 500's and RWL Goodyear 225x70x14's. This is an old photo. Car has been off the road for a while and needs new tires when it's drive-able again. I will probably stay with this combo though I am considering changing to a 15" wheel.

I like the Magnums or similar "mag" wheels much better than the original wheelcovers with whitewalls...
Man, those look sweet. Gold is the best....just saying. 225x70x14's should work in my 67's RIMs too

Yes gold is best. 15" magnums w 215/65 ft, 255/60 rr
These are 215 - 75 - 14s 26.7 dia.

They'll fit your rims. Those same size and brand tires were on my 67 Satellite with the original wheels and hubcaps when i bought it.

I’ve raised the torsion bars a bit since this pic so the stance has changed some. Car had 275s in the rear but on 14 inch rims wanted to be safe with the 255s based on other members recommendations.
