1967 Dodge Coronet R/T factory rear ride height

Hello Coronet owners,

Just about complete restoring a 67 R/T, and looking to update suspension.

I plan on 1.03 torsion bars in the front and replace the tired leaf springs with XHD/hemi w/ Bilstein shocks all around.
The rear springs are pretty worn, and I'm not sure what the factory ride height looks like with new springs.
I would like the rear just high enough to expose the 15" Magnum wheels, but not excessively high (I used a jack in the rear to bring the height where I would like it).
I'm either going to use ESPO or Eaton.

Anyone have insite and suggestions on stock spring height vs plus 1 to get the height I desire?

Thanks

I like picture # 1 best. From a '67 R/T owner.

Yes...photo 1 is what I'm shooting for. Looks like I'll go with stock plus 1.
Any suggestions on the Bilstein shock p/n for the 1.03 TB & XHD leafs, that has the correct extension length for front and rear?

This is with fresh factory ride height HD rear springs and 15x8 wheel with 245/60.

I know this isn't a 67 but has the same suspension. This is stock ride height. Basically stock would be sitting level front to back.

According to data in the Hamtramck Registry website, under Articles, as manufactured the bumper to ground heights of the 67 Coronet, all V8 models except the wagons, is front 11.8", rear 11.9". The front is adjustable so they may have compensated for the 440 if it's much heavier than the 383. I recall reading the 4 speed trans is 100 lbs heavier than the torqueflite. My 67 R/T is up on stands for the season, but those measurements seem about right to the eye from what I remember. Parked next to my Ford Edge it looks like a lowrider ..

That is interesting. I will have to go and measure my 67 R/T after work today. Thank you
