1967 GTX race car - lower price - $8500

I am listing this vehicle for a friend of mine. Her husband was the owner and driver of this car and I was told all of this information from him before he passed away last year from lung cancer.



1967 Plymouth GTX race car, 440 engine, 727 transmission, Dana 60 differential. Last pass at Sacramento Raceway was 10.39 <winner!>. Car has been parked for a few years, needs some TLC to bring it back to it's former glory. We've fired it up and it still sounds nice and crisp!

ENGINE
1970 440 engine has 0.060" oversize JE pistons, 13.5:1 compression ratio, closed camber 915 heads, ported & polished, roller rockers, .590 Isky camshaft, Elephant ears engine mounting plate, MSD distributor, tunnel ram intake with dual Holley 660 center squiter carbs, electric water pump, electric fan, trans cooler, Hooker big tube headers, race mufflers with short down pipes, 10 gallon fuel cell

TRANSMISSION
New 727 transmission with new trans brake, reverse pattern valve body, aluminum clutch drums

SUSPENSION
4 link rear suspension, 12 point roll cage, Strange Engineering Dana 60 differential with 4.88 gears, only a few passes since 4 link was installed, Cragar wheels, Just installed 4 BRAND NEW tires.

BODY
Paint job is starting to show some age and needs attention, fiberglass hood with Six-Pack style scoop, fiberglass front bumper, Reverse lenses need replacing (1 good one is included, not installed yet)

INCLUDES: 2 axle Carson car trailer

The car has been sitting for about 5 years. It was under a car cover for 4 of them. This past year the cover was dry rotting, so I tossed it and covered the engine with a engine builders bag.
