1967 gtx worth restoring??

will that was great!! The truck needs a little work but they make all the panels for it and i've got the motor to go in it.Ever since i've watched that show ,i've always wanted one like it,not to get confused with the one from the fall guy.

never realized they made that many..is that total or for 66-67...?
They didn't make GTXs in 1966, 67 was the first year. And sorry, I'm not ready to give any up just yet, I'm definitely a hoarder, notice my phrase at the bottom. I'm a self admitted Coronetaholic. I don't even want to admit how many I have.

Not buying that car is a good move. There's no guaranty the motor and tranny are origional.

That was one of the best of TV detective shows! Loved it and most definitely that power wagon, Two brothers who seem like they were raised in two different worlds, beer verses Champagne like lol.. Aj and the 57 i really cant say was not cool, but Rick could hang around here and feel comfortable! :)

I kind of like a brown bottle, i don't really care for the champagne stuff, its nothing but ginger ale that knows someone.

i will...only thing i need now is bucket seats and maby change the dash somehow so i can have a tac,,,i just got a 440 6 pack hood but really want the cowl hood...someone just posted a cowl for sale on here for 275

If you like this as much as it seems, If your able to grab it, maybe you can put it up until done with your 70 project, at least you would have it but i would get more info on it myself at least to verify that it is truly a GTX.. just my 2 cents.. Hate to see someone get took, pay more and not be what there paying for..

i would like to get a real 67 gtx for next car down the road...wasnt sure if this one was to far gone...fig if it was worth fixing i could get cheap and fix in a few years...but more i look at it i see more and more work thats gonna be crazy expensive...plus not one bit of interior is there and thats hard to find...fig ill wait till belvedere is fixed and done and then ill start looking for next project..

i learned allot after buying my 70 and wished i would have gone through it way better and seen what i know now and how much work and money it will cost to fix the floors..i wouldn't have gave what i gave and offered 1500 less on car..i over paid a lil for 70 and next car i buy is going on a lift and im going through it thoroughly and have a body man look at as well..

Live and learn Josh...There's only so much a book, a computer screen, or someone can tell you, but until you actually live it yourself..that's where experience/reality comes in. Hindsight is always 20/20 buddy. Next round, you'll have you're guns loaded :toothy5:

That is the best way to look at buying a new-old car, prices for metal parts, interior parts are pricey and it doesn't take long to get ahead of ourselves with that love of the car blinding us a little when looking.. I try to look at it if a deal falls thru is there is one better around the corner and if not, im not broke trying to build one.. i think you have a good mind set with it, finish and enjoy the 70, see what comes up in the future. Thats one i would like to find, the 69-70 Satellite or RR.. More sentimental reasons then anything and im still not giving up on the idea, i never know what i may find later and have my 73 to enjoy until then.. Good decision i think you made.

That GTX was at Mopar Nationals this year. It was sitting on a trailer. I bought the rear passenger side wheel well moulding off it to complete my set.
