Cragar also does a 5 inch bs in 15x8.from what ive seen on this and different posts for a 66 67 b body 4.75 is the ticket but wheel choices stink

I'm not seeing the 5" backspace anywhere for sale. This is the exact rim I'm looking for for my '67 GTX. Do you have a link to it anywhere?

I just bought 15X 8 cragar rims -6 backspacing with tires 235/70/15 for 1966 Plymouth satellite will they fit?

Should, although 6" of BS'ing is gonna put the rim pretty close to the spring I believe. All things being stock, I think.

6 inch bs is way too much.gonna have to get a 1 inch spacer.ive heard 0f 5 inch rubbing on inside wells and leafs.4.75 is the ticket but my 4.5 also fit great,about an inch from springs with 255s.

I think he may be talking about minus 6mm offset. If that is correct, ive got no help to give. Plus minus metric is a calculation i couldn't care less about struggling to make. Measure the actual backspace of the wheel with a sraightedge and a tape measure, give us the answer and we can help.

I agree, it’s gotta be -6mm offset, which would translate to 4-1/4” backspace on an 8” rim. That’s going to push the tire out toward the quarter panel lip a little more than the more common 4-3/4 backspace. But with a relatively narrow 235 tire, it will probably fit just fine.

275/60/15 8” wheel with 5” of backspace they don’t rub.. not at the track running in the 11’s...not with 2 people in the back seat going to car shows and cruises.. they just don’t. I would spend the money on ordering wheels or get 5.5 inches of backspace on a factory wheel and run 1/2 inch spacers

That might be what I need for my 66, 68 Dana = 5/16 more to the outside so the 6” backspace should work. Might just buy the centers and rim unwelded, steel and small cap. I have a Goodyear 30-9-15 slick and 7” rim under it for now, fits ok. A little close up front at the edge with the stock 8-3/4 rear

The only issue I see with that is purely aesthetic. I don't like that little of an offset on the rear. I like my older cars to show a a little depth in the rear rims. A day 2 big and little wheel aspect if you will. Just a personal preference I guess.
