Hi, all

I'm new to this site. I'm not currently a Mopar owner but would like to be.
Specifically, I'm looking for a 68 to 70 Dodge Charger RT - (isn't everybody)?
I've done quite a bit of looking on the internet and boy, there sure are a lot of scam websites out there.
Can anybody here recommend some legit websites or dealers for my search?
Thanks to all,
Vance

Welcome to the site. You need to look at them in person,a dealer is goimg to add $10,000 to the price if not more. Be patient and you will find one. Good luck. Took me over 5 years to find this one,not an RT.

Welcome aboard & Good Luck with your search. (I hope you have deep pockets and are prepared for some sticker shock, lol!)

Thanks for the welcomes! I've just started searching but I'm quickly getting an idea of what they go for.

I'm retired and this is a bucket list item for me so I'm preparing myself to pay what it takes.

Thanks again!

welcome to FBBO good luck with your search

Welcome! 68-70?! Those are boring, first gen is where it’s at!

Good luck in the hunt!

Welcome to FBBO.

As far as legit websites go...this is the best place to start asking. Someone is always ready to sell a car.

Place an advertisement looking for what you want. I'm sure something will pop up.

Welcome from Alabama, hope your search is fruitful. As stated above looking in person is the way to go. Don't take the sellers word for anything unless they put it in writing.

Welcome from Michigan. Hope you find that special Charger.:drinks:

Welcome from Canada, Vance! You'll find your Charger! This forum helped me find some beyond-rare parts. I agree with davek (post 3) that you've GOT to see any car you're serious about IN PERSON! All the best, Kevin

Good luck with your search. The main thing is go in person to look at whatever you find, or take someone else with you that knows Mopar or classic musclecars. I am always looking for another one myself, but prices for even junk are through the roof right now.

Welcome from Iowa and lotta great people here

Welcome! FB Marketplace and Craigslist are full of scammers. If anyone requests a deposit right away, run away. About the only legit online place is Bring A Trailer, even eBay has scammers. Dealers are all adding up to double the true value of any 2nd gen Charger because demand is still high. Absolutely drive/fly/boat whatever it takes go see any car you are serious about in person.

Welcome from Nebraska! There is a dealer in Lincoln, had a very nice 68 hemi R/T, red car and pretty original if I remember. Not sure if that’s still for sale but top end car…. asked top end money. If I see something else around here I’ll try and let you know!

There are a couple on Facebook out on the west coast both projects and finished cars.
