WTB 1968-1970 Dodge Charger

Hi, all

I'm new to this site. I'm not currently a Mopar owner but would like to be.
Specifically, I'm looking for a 68 to 70 Dodge Charger RT - (isn't everybody)?
I've done quite a bit of looking on the internet and boy, there sure are a lot of scam websites out there.
Can anybody here recommend some legit websites or dealers for my search?
Thanks to all,
Vance
streetsideclassics.com has some and their search filters work well. Pricey, but sometimes have one for under $70k. Got mine at Hemmings.com on an auction, by luck. It was listed as a "partial restore" and the partial must have put bidders off, so it proved to be a comparative bargain. The lucky part was that I had just about given up on my search when I decided to open a Hemmings email instead of deleting it, and there it was in the middle of the email.

Uncle, I give up, post some pictures of your car.

Hi all,

Thanks for all of the advise. I will certainly take it to heart.

Next week I am traveling to go look at two RTs. Is there anything special I should look for? More importantly, is there anything I should look out for?

Also, is there a decoder out there I can take with me to decode the Vin number and fender tag?

Thanks again

If you find one with the VIN ending in 170626 please let me know! Good luck they are to find.

Welcome! 68-70?! Those are boring, first gen is where it’s at!

Good luck in the hunt!
I'm with you, and not because of price either, I had a silver 66 with red interior 383 auto, my favorite of all Mopars I've owned, and I've had RR, Challenger, Cuda', Cornet, Satellite, Multiple 70's Chargers etc etc
