This one looks like a solid start, although the listing is short on details and pictures. Might be a good price, might be a bondo sled with a painted motorhome 440, but it's still a '68 Charger with a clean title! The grill looks really good and the interior appears to be complete.

The red interior looks nice. I think it would turn out great combined with a white paint job and stock rims. :D

Based on the meticulous cutting job done on the carpet when they executed the four-speed conversion I'm guessing that there's no more than a wheelbarrow's worth of filler hiding under that primer...

And before anyone feels the need to point out to me that the hump doesn't fit under the girly-matic carpet, yeah I get that - but a little bit more time and effort spent there could have prevented that carpet from looking like the textile version of the woman from "Throw Momma From The Train"...

the caliper is on upside down !!!!! what else is up side down ??????

Jesus Jerry.. that $30K car is looking better and better! LOL
Thanks, I'm just not into another full restoration. #1, I'm not physically able to do it, #2, I'm not sure that I want to, because no one can meet my expectations. I fired three people over this one.

Its not your fault. Getting a car restored by somebody else would be one of my biggest nightmares.
Its hard enough to find somebody that does basic repairs and maintenance well enough where i live.
I would freak out dealing with this kind of people (not even able or willing to do repairs right) on a restoration project.
That would be good way of getting a heart attack under 30 i guess. :D

These cars were done in my shop, not in any restoration shop. I to would have major fears of a trying to get work done in the restoration world. There are only probably 1 in ten restoration shops that have capable personnel and far less than that have owners, or in charge people that know how to properly do the work that is required. I would be more willing to trust some of the guys on this forum that have taken their cars from nothing to works of art, than someone in the business that is out to see how many hours they can get before you squeal. If I am faced with another restoration I have a list of people that I trust to do certain things and without question of the way I want it done. Unfortunately at my age all these people are a lot older, and as we all get, slower.

The quality of this rant is.. Superb. 10/10 stars. :steering::luvplace::nutkick:
