From what I understand the same Inland 4 speed shifter was used 66-68. Reverse lock out does not need to function. Shifter mechanism not required. Would like the 3 mounting bolts.

Thanks

For B-bodies 1968 had different bends in the shifter handle due to the dash shape. Same shifter box on the trans.

that photo is a 1968 car with a 1966-67 shifter handle.

blow first photo is a 66-67
Second photo is a 68

68 has and extra bend and top of shifter ar a different angle.
Same ice for console and non console handles.

Interesting. So the shifter in the bullitt movie charger had a 67 Inland shifter in it? So what does a 68 non-console inland shifter look like? The picture above shows a 1968 charger 383 4 speed car with a non-console inland shifter.
Thank you!

So I am confused. I believe what you are saying is that the 1968 Charger Inland shifter was the same for both the console and non console cars? I have found two photo's of 1968 Chargers without consoles having the same straight(er) Inland shifter as in the picture I originally posted. Just trying to clarify. Thanks

The picture you posted is correct for a non-console car. Here’s the original shifter in my '68 Charger (built in 12/67)……

Thanks very much! Now all I need is the shifter....

I've seen them around, but like everything, it's never available when you want it. FYI, I got a Hurst shifter mechanism with the adapter for the Inland handle for mine from Brewers.

Yes thanks, that is the way I am going, don't want to mess with the reverse lock out. Keep an eye out for me ;)

If I was in Portland I would buy it.

Hey thanks! yes that is console. I tried to get a hold of the seller in Portland, but there was no response. If you can put me in touch that would be great.

No problem. Gave him a call but i didn't hear back yet. I'll let you know if it's his and pm you.
