Hey, B-body Guys & Gals.

What was the factory gloss of the '68 Charger's rear panel? I don't think it was glossy, but was it satin black or flat black?

Thanks for your help.

Someone probably will come up with what the factory did. I thought it was Organisol or something. However, I used a textured satin black on mine. Definitely not gloss or flat.

Thanks, sixpacktogo. I faintly recall the blackout panel having a texture to its finish, like an extreme fine sandpaper. Are you able to post a close-up photo that captures your car's gloss black finish, the separating trim, and the textured satin black? Grateful for your help.

Just my opinion, anybody nit picking your car or my car that close had best have a lot of green in hand getting ready to buy it. Leave it good.
