1968 Coronet Decals

New decals laid on spots, now I have to get batt.decal also; thought I had one. Now I'm wondering if maybe batt decal was in front of fender tag. Not too much space beside fire support hold.

Finally found the air filter decal for the 318. All decals that I know about on the car should be here by next weekend. There is a big stretch of car shows in Sept and Oct here so I need to get her in tip top shape!

Au contaire- my timing decal was definitely behind fender tag. SB's maybe different? Oh, the holes in core support line up perfectly for a 6-pack factory hood!! Had one on mine back in the racing days.

Could be different between SM/BB. Wondered what those holes where for!

LOL- yup '69 6-pack hood fit up perfect(with 2 more holes in the rear for the two rear pins). Don't know the original intent for the holes.

Yes BB are different:

Here is a '68 440. Notice the decals are in reverse order than the way mine were... clearly they could be anywhere. Also there is a new decal there with the Chrysler logo on the radiator support..... I don't recognize that one at all.

Jim that's the a/c decal, saw them way back at the gas station when I was not worrying so much about them!

You should look at Year One Jim. Not only are they correct, but they give the install location for the year and body style

Thanks Dave. Interesting YO does not have the AC decal, only the metal tag for the compressor. Did answer a few other questions about decals I saw from Classic Industries.
