Re doing some things to clean-up the rear end and cover on a 1968 dana 60. I know it is black but was OEM gloss or semi gloss? were the housings painted? Also replacing the front brake drums on a 1968 hemi RR. Were they painted or bare cast iron? If painted again gloss or semi?

Thanks

The cover was chassis black, not glossy. and the brake drums were bare metal. I have been painting brake drums and other associated partswith Martin Senior Stainless steel paint. It's not silver, and it's not gray. Kind of in-between. Don't like the parts to rust! Look-up my links tothe article about this paint. Goos luck!

Passenger side core support right next to the horn. The green wire w/plug is very short that plugs into the horn.

Thanks, There is not one on the vehicle. I will have to figure out exactly where it goes. I can't seem to find any picture on line that shows the relay on a 68 RR
