1968 Dodge Charger 426 Restoration

Well all I got to say is get your camera ready. Bob Horman here telling Mike to get the camera ready. I did my 68 Hemi charger and took about 80 pictures of my restoration. Looking back I wish I have taken 280 pictures of my car. This website and Hemmings motor news helped me find the parts I needed to get my car back. Mike if you find you need something for this restoration, post your needs on this website. This website has sooooooooooo many great guys who will goooooooooo out of their ways to help you. Every member on this website has been thru some form of restoration of our beloved Mopar's. Hello Bob and all others, The difference is minor and I did not realize it until a conversation with Bob and actually looked at what I have and what was on the car. Mine is an early build 9/67 Charger and on the early taillamp housing there are two protruding tabs that must have been for protecting the reverse lamp bulb socket. The protruding tab style is what my car was equipped with. I have a pair of NOS lamp assembly's, one of each, with and without. Also on the rear window revel to roof moulding my car has a Phillips screw attaching it to the quarter panel. Most have a rivet as shown. Must be factory as there would be no need to remove a rivet that has no purpose other than connecting the two moulding's together. That's all for now. Thunder Road!! Kocan
