I found another Charger I'd like to clone into a Daytona so I've got this one up for sale. I've had it only four months. If it doesn't sell by the end of next month, I will be putting it in storage for the winter.

The car is very solid. It was repainted in 2007 and has new rear quarters. It has the original floor pans and trunk pan - all rust free. Car has it's original fender tag but I was not able to find a build sheet. Car was originally UU1 blue, now QQ1 blue.

Motor runs very strong. It's a 383 with Edelbrock aluminum heads, mild cam, and intake with a 750 Holley carb. Engine was built by MuscleMotors in Michigan. I don't know if it's the original engine or not. I cannot find a VIN on the motor. It's an automatic with a floor shift console. Power steering, manual brakes. It's an A/C car, but the A/C components in the engine compartment are not there. Car was converted to electronic ignition. Car has a 3:23 sure grip rear-end which was just rebuilt and installed about a month ago.

All of the lights work on the car except the instrument panel lights. I should be able to get this fixed in the next week. The only known issues are the rear speakers are blown, the heater control cables are seized, and the windshield leaks a little in the two lower corners. It appears to be a problem with the seal, but I haven't had a chance to look at it yet. It should be an easy fix.

Serious inquiries only please. No tire kickers or low ballers. I don't need to sell this car.

That car is beautiful.

That car IS beautiful!!. I think I looked at a `68 for you here in Detroit 4 months ago. Welcome to the site. You know that car is still for sale here in Royal Oak, in fact the price has gone up as he has been working on it.

Very nice looking car at a fair price.

Thanks for the compliments! I'm not interested in any trades at the moment. I'm trying to make room for my next project.

Interested in the '68 Charger

Hello G-Man:

I'm a real fan of the 68, 69, & 70 Chargers. I'd like to eventually have one of each. My 70 R/T was in a similar condition to this one when I bought it - A/C missing, a couple of other little problems.

If this is still for sale I'd like to know you're best price. Don't worry if you have put it in storage already; your photos tell me all I need to know. Call or email any time.

Thanks, Ed Peglow
