I have installed new floor and trunk pans. What is the best undercoating to use, keeping in mind that I do not have a lift? One recommendation I received was POR-15 bushed on. Should I also coat the top side? Thank You!

you brush por15 on that new pan, it will come off in sheets.......it's made to grab onto rust and it isn't an undercoat anyway

If you want to undercoat it take it to a local Ziebart dealer and have them do their magic. I don't know where you are located but there is a good one in Naperville.

just my opinion, but epoxy primer followed by a good brand [such as raptor] of bedliner.
the ziebart products are just to "gooey" for my taste. [back in my body shop days, 1968-1972, i sprayed that type of product, and was not too impressed]
:drinks:

I would just paint it with good chassis paint and put sound deadener inside.

I sprayed rubberized undercoating on my driver quality 70 when I replaced the driver floor. It already had some sort of coating on it so I wasn't worried about "originality". I do it to all my vehicles as a salt barrier (although the Charger is parked from November through March most seasons, to avoid all road salt). You can control the texture with your spray distance and thickness and it's usually good for a few years before needing touchup.

I did spray my Wrangler with herculiner spray when I was lining the interior. Herculiner is a roll on bedliner and they offer a spray for crevices and stuff, and I figured I'd try it. Only been a couple years on that but so far so good.
