Looking for offers on a 1968 Dodge Coronet 500. CA/AZ car.
Los Angeles CA. 15K obo. **No Trades**
Here is some info on what has been done to the car. If I don't get the offer I am looking for I will paint and relist then. I don't want to ge into body work as I have no experience with it.
Some info on what I've done to it. I have receipts for all of this. The below represents what's been added from about 4 years ago October 2014 when I got the edelbrock parts and fired her up.
Rebuilt 318
904 transmission by Bob Mazzolini Racing in Riverside CA (Look him up, it's worth it!)
Converted to Disc Brakes in front.
New drums/pads in rear.
New Springs/shocks.
New HD Springs in the rear.
Heads re-worked and cleaned up when engine was built.
Aluminum radiator
MSD Ignition (Distributor, coil, wires, etc.)
Converted to Manual steering with flaming river parts.
New tires all around, with new wheel vintiques police style wheels in the back (15 x 10 inch). 295 Mickey Thompsons with less than probably 150 miles on them.
Rebuilt front suspension and torsion arms.
Rebuilt rear end, New seals all around.
Edelbrock intake, carb.
TTI Exhaust w Dynomax mufflers and H pipe.
Year one wiring kit installed All electrical works including windshield wipers, side markers, etc.
Rebuilt/replaced instrument panel. All gauges work.
New super clean Fuel Tank, New lines.
Re-balanced driveshaft with U-Joints replaced.
What does it need?
A paint job, interior, and some rust repair. A little on the rear quarter panels, and the trunk pan, as can be expected. Nothing structural, and the floors are extremely solid. The body is sound and straight.

I have had this car for over 20 years, and over those years have replaced or rebuilt just about every mechanical part on it.
I have pics of this car going back to the 70's and it was kept close. It's never been hit as long as I've owned it, and while it runs fine, I don't drive it enough because I don't want anything to happen to it, but one month while my daily driver was in the shop, I daily drove the coronet 26 miles each direction for two solid months, without a hitch. Was a great month!
I am looking to take offers and talk until September, when my work situation changes, and I will need the money. I also want to take this time for two reasons.
1. To spread the word as far as I can (Word of mouth, swap meets, etc.) so I get what the car is worth.
2. So I don't spend the $ before I need it.
With that in mind, I am in Los Angeles, I am not opposed to taking the car to Bob's in Burbank for cruise night so it can be seen. I am not looking for trades, I need money for a down payment on a house, and I'm not desperate to sell either. Any reasonable question or offer will be considered and replied to. Thanks everybody!
