You're right rrunner..........

I should have replaced "you can bet" with "odds are".

Honestly here in the salt belt, a 68 Roadrunner with a matching engine (possibly), and the other options for a $1000 is almost unheard of -very few and far between. You would have had no problems selling that around my neck of the woods..Hell, I would have bought it for my next resto project.
I posted it as cheap as I could hoping someone would have been interested in saving it. Even offered it @ $500 without the 8 3/4 and still no takers. Did have a few trying to get the VIN, fender tag title and body #'s, hmmm wounder why?:nono:

i hate to price your stuff, i am interested in the fenders

Tracy - you can have both front fenders for $400. They both will need minor patching, but nothing severe. Please let me know if you are interested. Please feel free to call me at (248) 701-9243. Brian

I'm just south of Detroit working on a 68 charger. How are the rockers, crossmember, floor pans, and rear frame rails. Thanks!

Obviously you took my statement the wrong way daniel......

There is absolutly nothing wrong with a 68' Coronet and I sure as heck wouldn't be the first one to cast stones about them considering I own a 68' Coronet and have for 16 years now...

The point I was trying to make is that if the car was more of a premier optioned/popular car like a 68' Roadrunner/Charger/Superbee-or R/T net, people would be more apt to restore that type of car, in the condition this one is in vs. selling it for a parts car.

A few reasons why......resale after resto, performance, rarity in some cases.

Like I said earlier, it's sad to see a car with that great of looks get parted because of being a car rolled out with low options..

As far as your weight statistics...Kind of lost on that one..I didn't bring up any quarrels or questions on a 68's weight.

Hey propwash. Now my feelings are hurt. You did not even mention GTX as your premier car. Shame on you.LOL
