1968 GTX heat/ ac vents.

The air vents won't come out due to the selector knob on the bottom. I tried to pry off the plastic knob but it would not come off and was afraid to brake it. How do you get these out?

I believe that there is an Allen screw holding the knob on.

Put your reading glasses on. It’s opposite the little lever that you move.
