Rewiring the 1968 GTX trying to. Get the panel off the dash below the speedo the one with the lights wiper an flasher I took the screws out but she doesn't want to come out any body have any trick to get the panel out would be helpful thanks

Its a pain in rear.i just tried to get mine back out but couldnt.Luckly i only needed to get the wiper switch and was able to get one end out.On mine it seems like the pad around it is shrunk and makes it tough to come out straight.Maybe remove the lower pad around it?

It seems like it is usually the light switch that gets hung up. It is possible to remove the 2 phillips screws from this switch from the backside. That and loosen the steering column from the dash frame and let it drop down some. This has worked for me.
