Yes, a rotisserie restoration would be far more appropriate in describing a car - that is, if it actually was one.
In the meantime, we're going to continue to poke a little fun on this forum if it's all the same....
ROTISSERIE ? OH, YEAH !!

Even other gm divisions used different terminology.

My '66 olds had an "anti-spin" differential.

Would you all be happy calling it a K-frame off Resto ? I think we all know what is, and isn't possible with Our Mopars...

Ground up restoration :D

Our cars didn’t sell in the numbers that the GM cars did so many terms we hear today began with them. The whole “Survivor” thing sprung from the Corvette world.
Posi, frame off, Z bar and other terms started with Chevrolet and spread from there.
Black engine bays…. There is another one.

Same thing as saying something's made from "billet" aluminum. Personally I don't see why, if you know what they mean, you get your panties in a bunch.

indeed, maybe the term is not the right one, and that restoration rotisserie is more apropriate, but I am not American and I was not on the exact term.
Maybe a simple explanation would be smarter than mockery, don’t you think?
or to give interesting advice or congratulations to stay stuck on a term?
A bit of a shame to receive such messages for such a car, no need haters.
respect and politeness please.
Just a lottle ‘light-hearted’ banter here. Satire, humor and rhetoric are common (and often expected) in many of the posts — and certainly in this crazy passion of ours.

Brits keep expecting Americans to have their standard of "manners".
Brits keep a "stiff upper lip".
And they don't hug either, apparently.
That would be so terribly forward and emotional.
If the Brits need some help *** kicking, they call the Americans.
But if you want pomp and ceremony done right, give it to the Brits.
