The trim plate in the rear had a road runner decal on the right side. And #13 response shows what the seat covering was. I sold mine 50 years ago, but remember some things about it.
Yep that is correct, but the seats in the post are not correct for a 68, the release button is at the side location like the 70 model not the bottom like 68 and 69.Just a FYI as 1968 Headrest was an Option anything built after Jan 1 they where standard.
Correct. The federal law requiring headrests came into effect jan 1, 1969 (or thereabouts). There are original 69s without headrests that were early production. Headrests were optional on 68s.I ordered my 68 Road runner on Jan. 10, 1968 and car didn't have headrests on a bench seat.
