1968 satellite convertible rear side panel interchange

Here is a pic on the item I am talking about. You can see that the very top(the part that goes into the interior panels) is parallel to the car. The 66 67 is tilted. 70 pictured.

Oh. Wow. Yeah. I didn’t even know there was another panel back there. Lol

Where would a guy go about finding one of those?

I think we will be ok fiberglassing our side panels together. But I’m definitely going to need to find that filler panel.

That is how I found out the hard way. car was missing this piece and I got one that was supposed to work until I notice it would not match up at the top back area(ended up to be a 67 year item). The picture I posted was when I received the "70" item, I put it in and matched up my panels again...good to go...I repaired my panels with model aircraft epoxy with very fine layered fiberglass mesh for model aircraft. Very happy with the results.
On the 68 to 70 panels I my research had said there is a small difference between the plymouth and dodge pieces. I have both and cannot find the difference yet other than a part#. I hope for more info...

Yep. I finally found a few pics on the inter webs of those pieces installed.

Never did find one for sale, telling me it’s another hens tooth item. Lol

Leave it to me to find the B body that’s hard to find parts for. Lol

Come to find out……the cut up twisted bent up piece I couldn’t figure out what it was……is the divider panel. Lol.

So I do have one. But it’s rough.
