As so many of these original Hemi cars the original motor was over-revved and met its fate but was under the factory warranty and posses one of the few “Factory Warranty Replacement” 1969 date correct Hemi blocks. This is just one of the things that makes this Hemi car such a rare and amazing machine.

The interior on this 2 door “post” Roadrunner is all business and was completely restored in the early 1990’s in the correct tan and buckskin with all legendary materials throughout. The non-nonsense bench seat and column shift add to the “Go Fast” approach the original owner intended.

Again, the rebuilt date correct replacement Hemi motor is backed by the original well built and hard shifting 727 transmission and that is followed by the Dana 60 with factory optioned “Trac Loc” 4.10 Sure Grip rear that does all it can to get the monster Hemi to hook up the 275/60/15 tires but fails in a spectacular cloud of smoke at the command of your right foot. The owners name is Jim and loves showing how well the Hemi can destroy a set of rear tires!

The car is a N96 factory “Air Grabber” car and comes with (Not Installed) fiberglass under hood unit along with a correct set of “Black Wrinkle” Hemi Valve covers and correct orange Top air cleaner Plate. This is not a “Concourse Restoration” but was built with trophy’s and good times in mind. Jim did a great job Preserving this car and making it one of the best original 1969 Hemi Roadrunner Post cars around.
I have ridden in this car and have known the car since I was 9 years old, it never disappoints.
