Hi All. I just purchased my first B Body 1969 Charger and am unfamiliar with the location of the 4 way flasher/2 prong pigtail location. When I got the car there was a flasher laying on the carpet of the car. I assume it got loose and fell out at some point in the past. If someone could let me know where to look that would be great. Even the wire colors might be helpful.

I think I located the regular turn signal flasher. I/'m alittle baffled as the shape of it isn't round and more square. The turn signals flash rapidly. I'm assuming its an unusual flasher that was used causing that?

All the lights work in the car with the exception of the 4-way Hazard Lights.

Any clarification would be helpful. If pictures are necessary I can try and take some later today.

Cheers

One slot is to the left of the column, the other is just to the left of the ash tray. Located on the inside bottom lip of the dash.

That square with clip is one of the flasher holders next to the defroster hose. That square relay isn’t it thou. Like your used too, it should be round with blade ends

Yes. I believe it’s the turn signal by the ash tray. I’ll try and see if there is one to the left of the steering column as mentioned above. I’ve never seen a square flasher before.

Not uncommon. Round is most popular. Round will fit in the holder.

The housing clip mounts on the rail where wiring tends to follow wire length permitting

Hi pnora. I’m pretty sure I located one square flasher with square holder just to the left of the ash tray holder. Can you see it in my picture? I’ve yet to look in the two locations you mentioned to the left and right of the steering column. Was this standard location for all 1969 B Body’s? Thanks

Pictures I posted were from my 69 basicly unmolested Charger when I took it apart to restore.

Even my A body's are almost in the same place as panora has mentioned . If it's flashing fast, get a different flasher.
Now I have a question, is there a different value flasher for 4-ways and turn?
