A beautiful brute it is. Motor mounts? I use the Schumacher Interlockers.

Andy & Troxell's Garage made some more headway on Audrey today.

While they were waiting on the transmission cross member to show up they checked out the front / rear bearings and went over the brakes.

The cross member arrived and they quickly prepped the motor for being re-united with the body.

Thanks Mark! It was truly great meeting you guys! Looking forward to another Arizona Chapter of FBBO member get together. I really thought @Billccm was gonna make an offer especially after seeing how well she did on the dyno.

I don't know that underbody looks pretty grubby.... I would have Andy scrub it with a toothbrush and touch it up.....

lol...I know I'm probably doing this backwards but I just need to get it back on the road again...been too long. She certainly shows her age in certain areas but she is solid. I'll start doing some body things here and there but Andy is taking care of the major items.

Fairly rare cars, 440 4-speed, hope you are not offended with it being modified. I bought it as non-numbers matching, so it now has a 505" stroker with EFI, and a 5-speed OD transmission. Also, added Vintage Air A/C, and changed the 4-wheel manual drum brakes to power disc brakes. I need to get it back on the road too. Still need to finish the brake lines and master cylinder install on the brake conversion, and the wiring for the EFI computer upgrade.

I want to do some power tour / cross country drives in the car. I'm not kidding about the sunburn. When I first got the convertible, I took it out driving without sunscreen on and got a good sunburn. Just something I never though about before owning a convertible.

I decided to go with the BFG Silvertown Redlines (P225/70R14) and man do they look amazing!

Andy also got the new exhaust and drive line hooked back up. We were waiting on a few parts to install the new leaf springs but we are getting close.
