This question never occurred to me until recently.
I've seen many 1969 Coronets over the years but never knew about the different trim levels and how they had an effect on the taillights.
I've pulled pictures from a few sources and have seen the following 1969 Coronets:

About the only thing that I know is that the R/T and 500 models got that fancy aluminum panel with what looks like 3 lenses, though the center doesn't light up.
The Super Bee and lower line models had just two tailights but they had the thin bezels around the lenses.

In addition to that, depending on when your 1969 Bee was built, it could have a 2 bulb or 3 bulb taillight.

My 69 440 model is like the red one. I've always thought that was the sharpest design of the options

I always thought there was 2 versions 440/super bee and 500/R/T. Seems like that 4 door had the trim removed and holes covered? All other 4 doors I'm seeing online have the trim.

And I thought I recall reading the 2 bulb vs 3 bulb thing was part of a light package option, but I may be wrong.

Is the WL base model different, without the trim panel?

Don't see too many '69 WL or WE cars.

But I agree- R/T and 500= same, Bee and 440= same.

I don't have a way to confirm but I assume this as well.
