1969 Dodge Coronet build

I kept the center dash pad and removed the AC vent. (IMO real hot rods don't have AC).

I plan on utilizing the hole for switches (electric fuel pump, electric fan, and James Bond stuff).

I have found that the opening is to small for gauges though.

I will post pictures as I go.

Well I decided on this amp to put under the dash. The only bad part is, the mount brackets are permanetly attached to the body. Not sure how or where to mount it....... any opinions?

...can't reach the on switch and control the volume from those spots

I figured all these new fangles electronic things had remotes.

I figured all these new fangles electronic things had remotes.

What does, "new fangles electronic things" even mean?

I just don't want to be a hillbilly and hack a hole in the dash for an out dated cd player........

could be missing something but if you welded the A.C. holes shut in the frame why leave the duct openings in the lower dash pad?

I stripped the rally dash down to the frame and welded the A/C holes shut. It is getting painted now, I will post pictures soon.

Small indoor winter projects for the car.

I did not like the ugly green interior color, so I purchased black interior paint from herbsparts.com. It came out really nice. I made sure to scrub the dash pads with soap and water real well, and then wiped them down with rubbing alcohol.

I also dyed the green seat belts with black rits dye from Wal-Mart in boiling water. They also turned out really nice. I painted the green plastic holder with Herbs and it looks great. It is very strong.

I purchased a dash cap from remautoinc.com that fit excellent

Below are pictures.

Just utilizing the hole so I don't have to hack up the dash.
