Just got it running, the odometer says 15k , I believe that is the original mileage. The engine runs better than new. It had original carb, original master (inboard), original calipers & rotors. The car is a true survivor. I will post pictures of the motor soon. I will not be restoring this car. It will be on display at Carlisle in July.

I was gonna say-

Looks pretty solid despite the thick layer of filth.

Welcome to the asylum! ...oh, to find one like this....

Pic of fender tag puuuuuurrrrty please? Is that Butterscotch hiding underneath the decades?

The car was sprayed with motor oil or some kind of grease. When it was detailed the paint is surprisingly in ok condition. The color is a copper or light brown metallic.

All trim & moldings are being installed. Every single molding was with the car except the grille.

This car had a white vinyl top with white interior. Console, auto transmission. White bucket seats, dash has tic,toc tach. Power steering, power disc brakes, posi rear, has the original air filter.

So you’re saying it was packed up and stored like an M1 Carbine? Did you clean it up? Do you have pictures? We really like pictures here.

The car is not in my possession at the moment. I will take photos of all the progress soon.

The car is being serviced by an expert in the field. He is using many NOS or good used period parts to keep everything as original as possible. It took some time but I found a guy that rebuilds and restores all my brake system parts. The guy is old school. Apple Hydraulics in Calverton NY. Mars auto parts in Bay Shore, NY has NOS parts in stock , Acme Radiator in West Islip, NY rebuilds and will customize any radiator.
