1969 GTX side molding plus pinstripe below

I owned a '69 GTX in the 90s, that had the original paint below the side molding, and the original pin stripes. The spacing between the stripe and the molding varied with each panel, but the average was about 3/4." Photos of my current GTX when it was new show the same. On both cars, the variation was about 1/8" either way, didn't appear subject to strict quality control. My current car, shown below when new, was an early build, the other a late one, but margin for error appeared the same.
