Hey all . I have a 69 Plymouth gtx and my motor is starting to make some noise. I have the opportunity to buy a 440 with Milodon and Indy components. I have the casting number I believe it came out of an rv. Can I swap it with the original motor without doing anything major, so I can get that block rebuilt?

Please and thank you

Yes: The only caveat is if the engine is internally balanced or not. A stock 1969 440 is internally balanced, meaning the torque convertor and front harmonic balancer are a neutral balance. A later cast crank engine has offset weights on the torque convertor and harmonic balancer.

Make sure the Milodon oil-pan is right for a B-body too...
Lokks like B-Body style pan (?), some are deeper than others
looks to be a lil' deep also, if the car is low it may cause issues

good luck
