I've hesitantly decided to sell my 1969 Road Runner. I thought I would post it here for fellow B Body MOPAR lovers before I try other avenues. I'll try to be as detailed as possible and as honest as I can be within my knowledge of the car.
- 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner ( I've checked vin tag, fender tag, trunk stamp and radiator stamp. Trunk stamp is a bit hard to read, but what is readable matches perfectly)
- Original 383 Motor. (Just rebuilt the top end, new paint, valve covers, quick fuel carb. Runs very strong for a 44 year old car.)
- 4 Speed (NOT original. Original tranny was an auto. Swapped at some point before me for the 4 spd. Done professionally and works great. Recently rebuilt approx 1k miles ago with new clutch and flywheel.)
- B5 Blue w/blue interior. Not original paint but is original color. A couple scratches here and there but no dents. I'd say 8/10. I receive at least 5 inquiries about it every time it leaves the garage.
- Vinyl Top. (Was replaced shortly before I acquired it. No signs of rust)
- Brand new 3.55 gears and all the fixings to go with. (was originally a 3.91 car but wanted something better for cruising)
I've put close to 10k worth of work into the car since acquiring it and have receipts for any questions. I had originally planned for a cross between a true original and a hot rod. Therefore it is not an "all original" car but it does have most of its original parts near as I can tell. The car is truly beautiful and is a blast to drive...except in the FL summer in stop and go traffic. Then its not fun at ALL!!! I put a modern sound system in it, with a new single DIN head unit, duel kenwood speaker set up where the mono speaker was and new 6x9's in the back.
I'm looking to get $29k for the car or as close as I can get.
There is a lot more details I could go over, but I'll save those for anyone interested. Please PM me on this forum if interested and I'll respond ASAP. Thanks!
