well, you gave it a shot, great project, can't find them like that anymore and if you did, after friends and family get their opinions voiced, they want more than a "done" car. This past year at a car show I stumbled on a 68 GTX I had 40 years ago in original condition, made a deal with the owner, said I'd get my wife who was walking around, we returned and he had talked to his friends and he jumped the price $10K, I still said Ok, he goes in the house to talk to his wife. came back out and said they were going to save for oldest kid when he got the money. you indeed got a rare deal.
