Very nice! bird vs goat. hehe my little 318 will give your buddy a run for his money. I've really been wanting to get down to Acto. I'm hoping sometime in Oct...

Now thats really cool. My 63 Plymouth spanked this Pontiac GTO last year at a NSS race. It is a good feeling. Ron

Wow that GTO looks exactly like my old car! To this day I have dreams where I still own it. Guess we never forget our first love! As a previous Pontiac owner I would add that my 70 400, 4spd Goat trounced a 71 Roadrunner 440 automatic....Although mine was far from stock, and the kid was better at running his mouth than he was driving his car.

I never forgot the Mean look of the RR. Infact that's why I bought my 71 Satellite.

That's one of my fav years, with the scoop and the tach that's a +

That's great! My 68 RR back in the 80's ran almost exactly what yours is doing. I was a consistent 105 MPH in the 13.60-13.70 range. Your MPH is pretty good so improving your launch will be the key to a lower ET.

Don't bother dropping your tires pressure on street tires. Just may sure you're laying down a full 'patch' of tread. How are you going to determine if you are? Find a back road and do a few burnouts with different pressure, but I'm pretty sure if you keep it at 32-35, you're fine. When you drop the pressure on a street tire you actually lose tread.

Otherwise rip it up. Love going to Atco.
