i hate to mention this but the hood should be straight purple. perhaps you should change your post a little.

I do wish however that they would have made the performance hood paint in white though as it looks INCREDIBLE on a white interior, white stripe car

I used to think the white hood stripe was correct but someone brought to my attention that all hood stripes were black. After looking over the build codes it looks like you are correct about the hood being straight purple. I agree that it does look great together with the white interior as a combo. This is the same paint job as when I bought the car 8 years ago. Being numbers matching and pretty correct, had I had it done, I probably would have kept it original. Thanks for the feedback.

I have been watching this thread since shortly after it was started while lurking around this site. Heck, finding this thread is what brought me to this site. I finally had to register just to say I think that car is amazing.

I wish I lived in Florida and could afford a reasonable offer. Absolutely stunning and the best of luck to you with your sale.

Thanks to all you guys for the compliments and honest opinions. I really love the car but hate having it sit in the garage. Too hot to drive, too hard for me to steer these days, and not a convertible. The only reason I'm OK with selling it is that I WILL get to enjoy the next one more.

This 1970 440-6 pack GTX is a V-code numbers matching (engine, transmission, and body) car. It is an older restoration, but still in very nice shape. It took 3rd place in the 68-70 B-body stock class at Don Garlit’s Mopar Nationals in Ocala, Florida in 2004. The car is very true to its originality. Colors, options and equipment are all correct with the exception of the rims, antenna, radio and the armrests. Extensive paperwork including an original broadcast sheet is included. This vehicle has a clear title in my name. Only trades for 1970 Roadrunner convertible, 1970 Satellite convertible, or reasonable cash offers will be considered.
